It’s funny how sometimes we think that our decision to pursue employment is a logical one. It is not. We are in a constant state of self-assuredness in so many cases. We feel like we have an idea of what we want to accomplish. We plan our job search around that idea. We have a clear idea of what we want to be doing at the end of our day. We have a plan of action to get us there.

The problem is that we are, in fact, just a bunch of people who happen to have a clear idea of what we want to do. We don’t have a plan of action. We don’t have a clear idea of what we want to accomplish. We are in a constant state of self-assuredness and planning our job search around that. We are in a constant state of wanting to be as successful as possible.

In other words, we don’t know.

San Diego is a great place to work, but you really cant get much more self-assured than when you are getting ready to leave work. It really does not take much for you to know where you are going. It is what you are doing that makes you self-assured. Self-assured people are comfortable. They are not in a constant state of worrying they are going to get lost in traffic or be late for work.
